So we've had this loader for quite a while and for the last three years the fuel gauge hasn't worked properly. The story I got was that when it was full, fine, then as you ran the machine the gauge would stop going down and hold on 3/4th full. Well, we try to replace the fuel tank sender. So I got out the meter and tested the sender. It's suppose to be between 0 and 90 ohms. Similar to most GM senders from 67 to 97. Mine was reading 32 M ohms.

Ground the black lead of the multimeter to ground and connect the red lead to the B/W wire. There should be 12V. If there is 12V the fuel gauge will peg to full. With the splice connection open, the gauge will peg past full.
